چکیده:

A procedure based on the adsorption of antimony (3+) complex onto a column of surfactant modified zeolite(SMZ), loaded with 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5-Br-PADAP) is preposed.Antimony (3+) complexe was desorbed by using 5.0 ml of dimethylformamid(DMF).Antimony comlexe was determined by third derivative spectrophotometry. The accuracy of the proposed procedure was evaluated by means of antimony determination in reference samples. The achieved results were in good agreement with certified values. The extractor system had a sorption capacity of 4.5 micro moles of antimony per gram of SMZ – 5-Br-PADAP, that was related to high surface area of synthetic type A zeolite.
